Lego Land

So this is a post with a ton of photos-but it is worth it-LegoLand was very cool! We met up with my good friend Chrissy and her hubby and kids on Ethan's birthday for a day of fun while they were in town! It was amazing all the fun rides and games to play and several playgrounds for the kids. The section with all of the "cities" and famous places and landmarks created out of legos was amazing. Look at Washington DC and of course E was in awe over the Daytona 500 scene asking me to take several photos. There were lego statues and creations incorporated all through the park and it was just plain fun. Next time we'll get a better photo of all 5 kids, but that is extremely hard to do at a place like this full of distraction! Highly recommend taking kids of all ages here to play!

Valentine's Day

We had a nice celebration in each of the kid's classes at school for Valentine's day! They decorated shoe boxes and had their first true Valentine exchange. Jillian gave Princess cards out and Ethan chose Toy Story! They also ate plenty of yummy goodies with their friends. Jillian saw all of the flowers at Publix and was drawn to the sets of 3. I let her choose a dozen flowers and she made this great combo of pink, yellow and red roses-it really lit up our house for about a week. She is creative!

Let's Go Lightning

The kids experienced their first Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game with Mia and Poppy 2 weekends ago! We are always looking for fun things to do together so for Mia's birthday present we bought tickets for us to have this special outing together. The kids cheered and Ethan really enjoyed himself. They would cover their ears when the goal siren blared-and it blared often. The Bolts won 6-3 and Marty St. Louis, one of our star players had a hattrick and played in his 900th game that day. Yeah!!!!!!!!!

Ricky and Georgia

Two visitors came to our house this month-Creative World class mascots! Jillian was allowed to bring home Georgia Giraffe (she's in the Giraffe class) and Ethan got to have a few days with Ricky the Rhino (he's in the Rhino class)! We had lots of fun together and the kids decided both friends needed a trip to meet Chuck E. Cheese. They were glued to these things even at night and during nap time. There is also a journal that you write about your adventures in and when you return them to school you stand up and tell the class about what you did with Ricky and Georgia. Great intro to public speaking in preschool. The whole thing is really neat for kids and parents too!

Visit To Sebring

Last week we had such a nice day in Sebring with Aunt Linda and Uncle Bill. First we drove to a town close by called Lake Placid where they are known for having beautiful murals on the sides of buildings all around town. The kids favorites was at the clown school where we had some fun. Love how Jillian and Aunt Linda are on the parade float pretending to wave to the crowd. Then we had a nice lunch and headed to the children's museum in Sebring. This is our second trip there and the kids were so excited to go back. They have everything from a fire truck, post office, race cars, trains, hands on water system, restaurant, weather reporter area, Lego station, stage with costumes and more! Aunt Linda and I are were active participants in their role play as well. Finally we had a nice dinner at the house and Uncle Bill took us to DQ where the kids enjoyed ice cream with unlimited sprinkles! Such a nice day.
