Fun Visit

Our last night of this visit was a great one-Ethan enjoyed making cookies with Grandma and drawing with sidewalk chalk with Grandpa. Look at that container truck Grandpa impressed us with!

Apple Time

Ethan decided he did not want apple slices today and told me "eat apple big boy mama". So, of course we gave it a try and he ate about half the apple! It's funny how they decide one day they want to do something differently.

Around the House

Since we are pretty homebound I am always looking for fun pictures of the kids around the house. In a few more weeks we will be able to take Jillian out more and Ethan will be very happy, though he hasn't missed Gymboree yet thanks to daddy! As you can see, he truly likes having a little sister around!

Happy Birthday Layna

This past weekend we celebrated our niece Layna's 1st Birthday! My has the time flown by. We also had a chance to get all 4 Roenick grandchildren in the same place for their first picture together. Mia was there to hold them all together, not an easy task!

It's Bath Time

Ethan loves to play with all of his bath toys at the same time, therefore you cannot see the inside of our tub due to the abundance! Jillian had her first bath this week and as expected she mostly cried. It will get more fun little one.

Don't Forget Piper, too!

Lately, Ethan likes to walk Piper by himself like a big boy. It's amazing that when Eric tells her "Piper, Ethan has you" she actually doesn't drag him around like you would think-rather she gets gentler. If she does pull a bit or he's had enough Ethan drops her leash and says "daddy do it". It's really very sweet and I hope to get video of it soon!

Grandma is here

Grandma and Grandpa Weitz are in town for a month and we're having some great visits. Need more pictures with Grandpa who left for a few days on a business trip, but here's a great one of grandma with 2 of her 3 grandchildren looking at trucks on the computer (of course).

3 Weeks Old Today

Jillian enjoying her butterfly and ladybug gym! She really focuses on that musical butterfly well already! Piper is excited to see this toy again and loves to pop the butterfly with her nose to make the music start!

Too Cute

The other day Ethan woke up from his nap and I took Jillian in with me to get him. He said Jillian on my McQueen bed. He really loves her! They are two peas in a pod sleeping with their arms behind their head like that!

Our Growing Girl

Jillian had her 2 week check up today and she has jumped to a very health 9 lbs. 7 ozs. and 21 1/2 " long. Yes, she is an eater! (the hospital did not get her length right b/c now at 2 doctor's visits she is way more than 19"). We are enjoying her so much and getting to know her personality.

Thank you Mia

A great big thank you to my mom, Ethan and Jillian's Mia for staying with us for several days after we brought Jillian home. It was a huge help and we are finally settled into a pretty good routine!

Big Brother Little Sister

We have officially switched from babysites.com to blogger. We hope you will continue to follow our journey as our family has officially grown! Ethan Matthew is the very proud big brother to Jillian Ava who joined us 2 weeks ago. We can't wait to share our adventures with you all!
