Water Fountain Fun

On Sunday we had a great visit with Colleen, Alex and Grant. The boys had a blast playing in the fountains at the Fishhawk town square. Alex worked up the nerve to get completely drenched, while Ethan stayed a bit more tentative and settled for splashing and hands and legs getting wet only. It was a fun day!

Piper Turns 4

Yesterday Piper celebrated her 4th birthday in style. Ethan picked out a "cat" dog toy for her to play with and cupcakes with sprinkles! I guess he figures if his favorite is sprinkles then it must be Piper's favorite too. I added a fun picture of the old days when Piper was 9 weeks old and had only been with us for 1 week. Labs are the CUTEST puppies EVER! Jillian is all smiles at the celebration.

The Pacifier

Ethan has been cracking me up lately stealing Jillian's pacifiers. Why is it somewhat funny? Because as a baby he NEVER wanted a pacifier and it's pretty much about getting attention and "sharing" at this point. He puts it in his mouth and bites and twists the pacifier-hopefully just a quick phase! :) But the twinkle in his eye when he succeeds tells the story...

"The Best Easter Party Ever"

I know it took me an entire week to blog but we have been super busy lately! The title of our post is the title of Ethan's favorite Mickey Mouse episode and he talked about our party for days in advance. It was a nice day at our house with Mia, Poppy, and mommy's aunt Deb, uncle John, Aunt Linda and Uncle Bill! We had an Easter egg hunt, wonderful dinner and Tailgate toss game to end the night! Ethan finally had a good grasp on the Easter bunny this year!

Easter Preparations

It was a very busy week getting ready for our Easter celebration and Ethan couldn't have had more fun! Monday we decorated the tree outside with plastic eggs, which is very popular where we live. On Wednesday we dyed Easter eggs for everyone coming over and Ethan chose the colors, added personal stickers and yes cracked 2 eggs putting them into the cups! Friday night we baked and frosted yummy cookies, which Ethan sprinkled with joy. Next post will be Easter Sunday festivities! Jillian hung out with her big brother and soaked in what to do next year!

Happy Belated Birthday

Ethan's best buddy Julia turned 2 in March and he and daddy had a great time at her party. Ethan talked about birthday cake and wanting to go back to Julia's house for days! Happy birthday girl! Can you tell they are used to posing together?

Mama Jen

So this week at Gymboree Ethan was flirting with his teacher Miss Sarah, as always, and decided to show off for her. For the first time ever my son looked at me and then at her and with a big grin said "Mama Jen"! I didn't know he knew my name, so I said, "and Daddy is...", to which Ethan replied "Daddy is Eric" like it was nothing! He is growing up way too fast!

Sleeping Family

Today I went shopping for a bit and came home to 2 sleeping kids. Dad got them to sleep at their exact normal nap time! He didn't have the heart to move for fear of waking one of them up!

Squeeze Me
