Piper's Birthday Weekend

This  year Piper turned "lucky" 7 years old! Following in tradition she gets either cupcakes or ice cream and the kids gave her 2 cupcakes to celebrate. They also helped her open up some new presents-a ball and frisbee type toy! Then on the weekend we took her to Mia's house and spent the night so we could get an early start to honeymoon island dog beach. We all had a great day and Piper was happy to run on the beach, swim in the water and yes, even sunbathe at the end of the day! Happy Birthday Piper-we love you!

More fun with Friends

Two more posts after this and I'll be caught up to current! More from throughout this past month included the kids first trip to a Japanese Restaurant where they cook the food at your table. We also had a great visit with my long time friend Brett and his family who were in town visiting from Michigan. Fun to see our kids playing together while I got to catch up with his family as well. Finally, some of the kids favorite things right now other than swimming in the pool and drawing are playing with Jillian's baby dolls and Ethan collecting NASCAR race cars. They are so into playing house and school and pretend type games-it's really cute to hear the interaction!

Beautiful Day in Tampa

We have been to Lowry Park zoo several times now and it's always fun, but 3 weeks ago we had a beautiful day with a high of 72 degrees and all the animals came out. I mean, we saw everything and up close and personal. The kids were ecstatic to take pictures of all the animals up close and really see them playing, eating, etc....we took a nice picnic lunch and enjoyed a cupcake treat at the end of the day. They rode the train and the carousel multiple times because the park was practically ours that day. Enjoy some amazing shots-we truly enjoyed this day so, so much!

St. Stephens carnival

Our local Catholic school and church puts on a Spring carnival every year and we finally got to attend! The kids had so much fun. We went on Thursday, opening night and really beat the larger weekend crowd. Ethan and Jillian loved the bounce houses and rides galore-though they both gravitated to "car rides" as you will clearly see. We played a few games and yes, even won carnival goldfish-wish my aim wasn't so good! We absolutely had a blast and the kids were SO happy running around. Great memories being made for us.

Jillian pulled 2 sharks with one cast!
Found the 24 car of course to have a photo with!
